About my Life

I have spent my life developing my unique vision and creative skills. Since my childhood, when the entirety of the world could
be represented with a pencil and stick figures, I have grown exponentially as an artist. Today I enjoy the status of learned
professional, and also enjoy the lifelong challenge of viable and responsible expression that only fine art can offer me.

I have developed under the tutelage of several great contemporary artists, especially during my undergraduate studies at
Tyler School of Art @ Temple University. After studying abroad in Rome and seeing the glory of the renaissance firsthand
and delving into the modern art of modern Europe during the stay, I returned to finish my degree and absorb the
life/art altering implications of such immersion.

Since my graduation with a BFA in 2001, I have kept myself isolated in the studio, leaving only to gather supplies,
occasional human interaction, and extended excursions to random (yet signifigant) cities :
(New Orleans,LA : NYC,NY : Illadelphia,PA : Wilmington,NC : Richmond,VA : & most recently Austin, ATX!)

I believe in making my art an overriding priority over all others. I see it as the only way to keep the work alive and truthful.
I often struggle with the lack of credible experience on paper that such pursuits have provided me. I believe it will pay off.
I currently paint and draw on all types of surfaces for development, contract, and commission. I photograph most of my life.
I design hand-coded websites for creative individuals & business. I also write and produce hiphop music in my spare time.
